10% off everything!

Overnight Prints is one of my favorite printers. They always deliver on quality, whether it comes to paper or color. The thing that has always impressed me about this company, besides their cheap printing prices, is their business card stock.

It is rare to find someone who thinks that 15pt, nearly 60% the thickness of a credit card, is a standard for business cards. However, with Overnight Prints, you don't have to upgrade for this type of stock. I have never seen another company emulate this.

Vista Print offers 10pt, barely thicker than copy paper, for their business cards. Most others start off at a standard 12pt or a thick 14pt, but Overnight Prints beats them all.

Business cards isn't their only specialty. They offer cheap printing solutions for all the basic, and not so basic, printing needs you will encounter. I suggest you check them out and give them a chance. I have never read a bad review of them, and they sport quite a bit of perks.

Beyond the paper, they have incredibly fast turnaround times, and have never done a poor job. But, there's more reason than just this to visit them. Overnight Prints is offering a new coupon, good until the end of November, where everything on their site is 10% off! Take advantage of these savings before it's too late!

Recycled Business Cards

Those looking to create a green office won’t have to shirk quality when it comes to business cards. 123Print has just introduced green business cards, printed on recycled stock.

Recycled stock is nearly the same as regular business card paper. One of the few differences is it does have extra texture to it, but this will distinguish it from other business cards.

These business cards are also canon for our cheap printing theme. Their price starts at $9.95 for 100, which is a steal for you. What’s more, they have cheap design fees, and free designs.

You can either choose from their plethora of designs, which cover a vast array of industries and colors, or for $29.95 you can contact them about designing a custom business card for your company. Anyone who has had to go the custom design route knows that even just a business card can cost over $100. 123Print has quality as well as price in mind for their customers.

For those of you who are in a green industry, they feature many green designs. My favorite has to be a photo business card, where the background is black soil, and to the right of the card you see two hands holding a tiny sprout of a plant. It’s a great image, as are the rest of them.

If you’re looking for both cheap printing and recycled stock to be eco-friendly, then 123Print can most certainly help you out.

15% Off Postcard Printing

Postcards are the mailed equivalent of a business card. They get your message across, provide reasons why people should look into your business or service, and get people interested about what you’re offering. Along with business cards, postcards are inexpensive.

Postcard printing is already pretty cheap, but UPrinting helps with a new offer. They have recently offered a promotion, starting October 19th and running until December 1st, where customers automatically get 15% off their postcard order, up to a value of $250.

Beyond the cheap printing though, let’s talk about what UPrinting offers you in terms of service. UPrinting allows you to choose between three production turnarounds, from 1 day to 3 days, which can help those of us in a rush.

The paper they offer comes standard at 14pt. 14pt paper is nice and thick, very durable, and won’t get destroyed in the mail. Most other companies offer about a 12pt, which is thinner, and some even 10pt, which is barely thicker than printing paper.

The finish comes standard as glossy, but you can also choose a matte finish. The matte is 13pt, which is still durable.

Another perk is you can automatically choose a custom size when ordering your postcards. A lot of other printing companies make you email them for a quote, which can take an extra day or two, as where here you can do it during the initial order.

The last perk I can see about choosing UPrinting is their design options. It’s not uncommon for a printing business to offer free business card designs, but free postcard designs is rare to see. UPrinting offers a good amount of free designs for you to choose from, all of which look professional, and can suit your every need.

Try them out, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Big Sale on Brochures

Brochures are a great communication tool, no matter what you are trying to communicate. Not only that, but they are a cheap tool as well. When it comes to cheap printing for brochures, there is no better time than to head over to PSPrint.

They are hosting a promotion right now where you automatically get 50% off your brochure price until 11-12-09, up to a $500 off. Meaning you can order up to 5,000 brochures to maximize these savings.

Another good thing about PSPrint is they offer many folds for your brochures. Most printing companies offer only tri or bi fold, they offer both of these along with a four fold. So no matter what you need to print brochure wise, PSPrint will get it done with cheap printing prices.

Unlike many other printing services I have seen, PSPrint does something very useful for first time customers. On their brochure order page, they tell you the specifications of the paper being used. No more guessing what the difference between text and cover stock are, they tell you right there.

Raised Ink Business Cards

When it comes to finding flat print, full color business cards online you have quite an easy venture ahead of you. However, those looking for 1 or 2 color business cards with raised printing, will be hard pressed finding a printer online willing to use this printing method.

Thermography is the process in which ink is heated and applied to the business card, and due to that heat the ink raises up. Most corporate business cards have this raised printing, and it has become a staple with them.

Of all the printers I have encountered online, there is only one which offers this service. Not only do they offer raised printing though, but they have templates and sample logos so you can quickly type in your info and easily create a business card.

iPrint is a well known printer, with one of the largest product arrays I have ever seen. Their printing is superb, and they can accommodate nearly all of you printing needs. Below are several coupons to help bat down the printing costs (not that it costs much, it’s only $16.99 for 250 business cards, and an extra $3 for the raised ink. Cheap printing if I ever saw it).

Why do printing prices start so high?

This post isn’t going to center too much on cheap printing, but a frequent question asked by those confused by a printer’s price.

To set the situation, you go to a printer’s website. You select their business cards, and notice the price for 250 is $19.99. However, you need 1,000 business cards. When you change the quantity, the price only raises slightly to about $29.99.

Why, exactly, is there such a small increase from an extra 750 business cards?

Well, this answer is multifaceted. For one, a business does have to make a certain amount of money on every purchase, and if you are willing to buy extra products they are willing to lower the price to keep you satisfied, and to have you purchase more. But, there is another important reason that many people don’t understand.

Most larger printing companies use offset printers. These are the classic printers with large rollers and plates that can print huge quantities of prints in a relatively short amount of time.

To use them, one must create a plate of your document, and make sure the color is correct when transferring ink from the rollers to the plate. This process can waste hundreds or thousands of sheets of paper. Therefore, the initial start up cost is very expensive. However, once they get everything correct, the real price of printing is quite low.

And that is why the price starts out high, but the increases are very slight when quantity goes up. It’s not the company trying to rip you off at first, it’s them compensating for the difficult setup.
